I’ll be flying on Delta and need to use Windows native IKEv2 Always On VPN. Does the onboard Wi-Fi generally allow it, and is there anything I should expect before relying on it?
Does IKEv2 Always On VPN work on Delta Wi-Fi?

Reports suggest it can connect after you first sign in through the airline’s Wi-Fi portal. Get that portal step done before troubleshooting the VPN, since the connection may not be available until you’re authenticated.

Even if the VPN connects, don’t count on it feeling like a normal office connection. High latency has been reported, so interactive remote sessions and other delay-sensitive tasks could be frustrating. I’d have any essential files or fallback access ready before boarding.

Good point. I’ll make sure the portal login is sorted before testing the VPN.
