I've been following this community for a while and I'm finally ready to dive into my first PC build! My budget is around €1500, and I'm aiming for 1440p gaming at 120Hz. Here's what I'm planning on getting:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 7600X (€160)
- **GPU**: Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT 16GB (€615)
- **Motherboard**: Asus TUF B650-Plus WiFi (€164)
- **RAM**: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO (€206)
- **Storage**: Crucial P310 2TB NVMe (€120)
- **Case**: Corsair 4000D Airflow (€95)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e 850W 80+ Gold (€104)
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE (€37)
Total comes to around €1501. From what I've gathered, the 7600X should handle most games well, and the RX 9070 XT seems like a solid choice for the price. The 850W PSU might be a bit much, but I thought having extra power could be useful for future upgrades. Is there anything glaringly wrong or something I might be overlooking? Also, do I need to buy thermal paste separately, or does the Thermalright cooler include it? Appreciate any thoughts!

Where are you located? It helps to know for pricing and availability on parts.
Looks good to me! Everything you’ve picked seems balanced for what you want to achieve, especially for 1440p gaming.
That’s good to hear, thanks!
Overall, your build looks solid! The only thing that stands out to me is the PSU; it seems a bit overkill, but it's generally better to have excess power for future upgrades. Just be aware of the RAM price, which has been pretty crazy lately. But apart from that, you're on the right track!
I totally agree with you about the PSU! Better safe than sorry when it comes to powering up future components.
