I'm building a PC with a 5600 GT and a 550W power supply, and I'm feeling a bit stuck on which GPU to choose from Microcenter. I'm looking at the 5060 Ti priced at $400 and the 9060 XT at $350. I currently have a 1080p monitor, and I might look to upgrade to 1440p in the future, but I'm not certain about that yet. I'd really appreciate any advice on which one would be the better option for my setup. Thanks!

I'd suggest going with the 9060 XT. It offers great value and should perform well for your gaming at 1080p without breaking the bank.
If you're interested in features specific to Nvidia, like DLSS and CUDA cores, the 5060 Ti is the better pick. However, if you're just after solid performance and want to save $50, the 9060 XT is a fantastic choice. Both cards will give similar performance, but the 5060 Ti has a slight advantage in gaming.

I'm primarily gaming, but I'm also starting my second year of IT at uni, so I'll probably use it for that too. I don't care too much about Nvidia's features if the 9060 can handle decent FPS.
