I'm in a bit of a jam here. I was trying to download an app on my iPhone and realized I need my Apple ID password, which I believe my younger sister changed and can't remember. She can still download apps without any issues, but I'm stuck. I tried the restart and recovery options, but now it's telling me that it can't send the code to my phone at the moment. Is my iPhone locked now? It also gave me a one-hour timer, but I have no idea where to see that anymore. I'm really stressed out about this. Has anyone else been in this situation? After the timer is up, will I be able to request a reset again? The email linked is my mom's, but she isn't around right now. Sorry for the panic!

Yeah, definitely listen to TechSavvy77. If your mom has the recovery methods set up, just hang tight for a bit. You don't want to lock things up even more!
Honestly, you should probably wait for your mom to get back before trying anything else. And seriously, avoid sharing your password with anyone. It's important to keep it secure.
Good call, I have her recovery phone number, and she has the email. I’ve used this ID for almost 6 years without any issues. Thanks for the advice!
