Help! Missing ‘New Document’ Option and Wrong File Icons in Word After Installation

I recently installed a cracked version of Office 365, but now I'm facing a couple of frustrating issues. When I right-click to create a new Word document, the option is completely missing. Additionally, my `.docx` files are showing generic icons and the option to 'Edit' instead of 'Open.' I can find the correct icon when I search for Word, but individual files aren't displaying it properly. I've tried running an online repair, making some registry tweaks, applying ShellNew fixes, and refreshing the icon cache, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a reliable solution to restore the proper Word file associations and the 'New Document' menu without needing to reinstall Windows?

Yeah, cracked software can cause a lot of problems. You could also check if the missing 'New Document' option is related to your system’s policy settings. Sometimes restrictions can mess with right-click options. If all else fails, consider doing a clean install of Office but be sure to uninstall the cracked version first.

It sounds like a real headache! Cracked versions of software can often lead to unexpected issues. You might want to check the file associations in your control panel. Go to 'Default Programs' and see if Word is set as the default app for `.docx` files. If that doesn’t help, you could try reinstalling Office without the crack or looking for a trusted activation method that’s more stable. Good luck!
