I'm having trouble with my Acer Swift 3 SF314-57G laptop. It keeps telling me that it can't find any bootable device. When I check the BIOS, it doesn't show anything where the HDD/SSD should be. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

It sounds like your drive might be dead. A good way to confirm this is by booting from a live operating system, like Hiren's Boot CD on a USB. If the drive isn't detected there either, it’s likely time for a replacement.
Thanks for the tip! If the drive is really dead, does that mean all my data is lost too?
