I have a Asus Zephyrus G14 laptop, and after trying to play a game, everything went dark—I could barely see anything on the screen. I ended up restarting my computer, but now, when I power it on, I only see the backlight. The boot sound plays, and the Asus custom intro appears, but that's it. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I actually had a similar issue, and it seems like Windows might have messed up something during the crash. I had to dive deep into the BIOS to fix it, which was frustrating! Honestly, I'm thinking of switching to Linux because I'm done with Windows updates screwing things up. If you're considering Linux, I'd say look into Debian-based distros like Ubuntu or Mint—they're user-friendly, especially for gaming.
Hey, how did you manage to fix it? I'm curious about what caused this issue, too. Did you figure out what happened before the screen went dark?
If you're focused on gaming with Linux, SteamOS could be good, but keep an eye on driver support for your hardware. I'm also a bit frustrated with Microsoft, so I get where you're coming from!
