Hey everyone! I just finished building my new PC, but I'm stuck at the Windows installation page because it keeps crashing. I've tried at least ten times using different USB ports for my boot drive, but each time, I either get a black screen that reboots or it just freezes up. The crashes happen at different points during the installation process—sometimes even before the setup screen shows up.
I ran memtest86 for two hours without any errors and didn't experience any crashes during that, plus I can navigate the BIOS just fine and run tests like memtest86 without a hitch. I've reseated the RAM and m.2 SSD and checked all connections.
In the BIOS, XMP is disabled, and the m.2 drive is recognized. I'm at my wits' end and really want to get this PC up and running. I'm planning to try using a different USB stick for installation next, but any suggestions you have would be great! Thanks!

It really sounds like it could be a hardware issue. You might want to double-check the power connections, too, just in case something isn't seated properly. Sometimes, even if the BIOS is stable, other hardware components might still cause problems during installation.
I thought that might be it too, but since memtest ran smoothly and I was in the BIOS for over 20 minutes without crashing, I'm starting to wonder. Any ideas on what specific hardware could be causing this?
