Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC last month and since the start of June, I've been running into random Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes with the error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've already updated my drivers (even found one missing), and I've scanned the RAM for issues with no hardware problems detected. Strangely, it crashed again just an hour ago while I was doing nothing intense. I tried using Bluescreenview but I'm not sure how to interpret the results. From my online searches, it seems like it could be something about unauthorized memory usage. I'd like to fix this without wiping my system, though I've heard that might help. I've linked to my DMP error files too, in case they can provide any insight!

First off, to properly analyze what’s causing the BSOD, we need the dump files. These are crash logs that can give us a clearer picture. If you can, try booting into Windows normally or through Safe Mode. Once in, head to C:WindowsMinidump and see if you have any files there. If you do, zip the folder, and upload it to a file-sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox, as Reddit tends to block certain hosts. The more dump files we have, the better, so if there are only a few, let’s get those for now and we can look into how to set the dump type to Small Memory Dump later.
Make sure your BIOS is stable before doing anything else. If everything looks good there, I recommend updating it to the latest version directly from MSI's site. Also, grab the latest AMD chipset drivers for your motherboard. Avoid installing extras from that page; stick to the chipset driver itself, as others might cause conflicts. After that, let’s see if the crashes become less frequent.
How can I check if my BIOS is stable? Also, I’ve read some people suggest going back to an older version instead of the latest. Is that ever a good idea?
Got it! I’ll check for those dump files and post them as soon as I can. Thanks for the tip!
