I recently upgraded my PC with a new GPU (the Intel Arc B580 Maxsun) and a PSU (Montech Century 850W). Despite carefully following installation steps from various guides, I'm facing serious issues. My PC doesn't restart properly; when I try to restart it, I only get a black screen, even though the lights on my PC, keyboard, and mouse turn on. The GPU isn't performing well either; games are lagging and feel like they're running at around 12 FPS, even though it should be handling them better. I tested the GPU in a friend's PC, and it worked fine, but when I used a different GPU in my setup, everything worked perfectly. I've updated the BIOS as well, but I'm still stuck. Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated!

First off, make sure your display cable is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard's output. If your PC can't restart, does it just go straight to a black screen? What happens after that? Did you notice this lagging issue after updating your BIOS or before? Also, what are your PC specs? Knowing them can help pinpoint the issue.

Yeah, the display cable is plugged into the GPU. When I try to restart, the PC turns on and I hear it booting, but the screen stays off. Then it just cycles back to the starting phase, like it's stuck in a loop. My specs are 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Ryzen 5500 CPU, and a B550M DS3H AC motherboard, along with the new PSU and GPU. The problem didn't start after the BIOS update; I updated it in hopes of fixing the issue.
