I'm in a bit of a panic! I've lost photos from late 2024 all the way to October 2025. I've searched everywhere online for a solution, but nothing seems to work. Just to clarify, this isn't a case of user error or being short on storage. I pay for 200GB of iCloud storage, and I'm nowhere near full. I've checked the recently deleted folder and hidden photos, but there's nothing there. We're talking about nine months of memories, including two amazing trips to Portugal and Spain. I really want to find a way to recover these pictures! Has anyone else gone through something like this? What could potentially cause such a disappearance? Any suggestions on what I can do?

First off, how's your device's storage looking? You might want to check how much free space is left on your phone and iCloud. You can also share which iOS version you're using. Sometimes the software can play a role in photo visibility.
I have 80GB used out of 128GB on my phone and 63GB used on iCloud. Plenty of space! I updated to iOS 26.3 recently, which is a beta version, but before that, I had the latest stable version.
