Help! My TV Won’t Let Me Use 120 FPS with PS5

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Acer M Series Q LED TV (model AR75UDMGR2885AT). I'm trying to play my PS5 at 120 fps, but I can't find the option anywhere! I've already checked my picture settings, reset the TV, and confirmed that my HDMI is compatible. My PS5 settings are also good since I used the same settings on my previous TV that supported 120 fps. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It sounds like your display might be capped at 60 fps. Make sure that you've activated game mode on your TV, as it can sometimes restrict options for refresh rates unless it's on.

You might want to head to Settings > Screen and Video on your PS5 and turn on "Enable 120 Hz Output" and set it to "Automatic." Also, check if you can set your game to "Performance Mode" to get the most out of it.

Try using different HDMI ports on your TV. Also, make sure to use the HDMI cable that came with your PS5, as some cables may not support higher refresh rates. Lastly, check the display settings in your PS5 for any additional adjustments.

Make sure your PS5's video settings are set correctly. Sometimes, it doesn't automatically select the right display option. Also, not all games support 120 fps, so double-check that you're trying it with a compatible title. Have you looked for a game mode setting on your TV?
