I'm having a frustrating issue with my Windows computer because the Wi-Fi option isn't appearing like it usually does. I've already tried resetting the network settings and checked the device manager, but the only adapters showing up are WAN options—no sign of anything Wi-Fi related. I've tried these steps, but nothing seems to help. What should I do next?

You might want to try downloading the Wi-Fi drivers from the manufacturer's website using another computer, if that's possible. Just search for your machine's make and model, grab the drivers, and see if installing them resolves the issue.
Before diving deep into troubleshooting, ask yourself a couple of questions. Has your Wi-Fi ever worked on this computer? If so, what changed recently? Additionally, knowing your computer's brand and model might help—what kind of Wi-Fi card do you have? Also, what version of Windows are you using?
I faced a similar issue when I set up Windows for the first time. What worked for me was downloading the WLAN drivers directly from my motherboard's website. It might help to check if yours are up to date, too! Sometimes, drivers can go missing after a fresh install.
I literally just opened the computer today and it was like this right from the start. I followed some YouTube tutorials too, but nothing has worked.
