Hey everyone, I upgraded my PC last month and since the beginning of June, I've been hit with several random Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors, particularly with the code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I've tried a few things, like updating drivers (found one missing, but sadly it didn't fix the crashes), ran a RAM scan (which came back fine), and did some troubleshooting through the console. Just an hour ago, it crashed again when I wasn't even doing anything intensive. I attempted to use Bluescreenview to analyze the crashes, but I'm not sure how to interpret the results. I came across some information online suggesting it could be related to unauthorized memory usage, but I would prefer to find a solution without wiping my system clean, which I've heard might help but seems like a risky move.
I also found a folder with DMP error files, and here's the link to that: [DMP Files](https://www.mediafire.com/file/o9udi2la0att8bx/BSOD_dmp.zip/file)

To get a better grasp on your BSOD issues, it's crucial to gather the dump files, which are essentially crash logs from these events. If your PC can boot normally or even in Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find them, zip that folder and upload it somewhere easy to access, like MediaFire or Catbox.moe. We typically need more than one dump file for a solid analysis, so if you've got just one or none, at least upload what you have and then adjust your settings to create Small Memory Dumps for the future. That can help track down the issue better!
First off, double-check if your BIOS settings are stable—meaning it shouldn’t be freezing or glitching when you navigate. If everything looks good there, I’d recommend updating your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version (7B86vHN). You can find it on MSI's support page. After that, make sure to install the latest AMD Chipset Drivers for your motherboard as well, since using the correct drivers can prevent a lot of issues. Give that a shot and let us know if the crashes keep happening!
It’s definitely understandable to be concerned about your PC stability! If you’re unsure about the BIOS solution, it wouldn’t hurt to check forums or reviews regarding which BIOS version works best for your specific setup. Sometimes, newer isn’t always better if there are known issues with the latest updates. I would recommend backing up important data first, just in case something goes awry. Keep us posted on how it goes!
Got it! I suspect my BIOS is stable since I've navigated it without any issues. Just a side question: I found some info suggesting I could downgrade my BIOS if it’s older (like from 2020). Is going to the latest version always a safe bet, or should I consider this advice? I’m really anxious about messing anything up since I don’t want to lose my PC!
