I recently bought an SSD to increase the storage in my laptop, but it seems to be too short for the slot. There's a screw hole in the middle of the SSD, but I'm missing a spacer to secure it properly. What can I do to fix this issue?

Your laptop might support different SSD sizes. It’s common to have 2242 or 2260 sizes when the slot is meant for 2280. You can check the exact size your laptop supports and possibly get a bracket to adapt your SSD to fit. It may be worth looking into that!
Adding a picture of your setup could help! It might give folks a better idea of the spacing and holes you’re dealing with, especially since sometimes there's custom fittings for different models.
I tried sharing one too, but I didn't have the right permissions. Hopefully, someone can help out just by looking at what you've described!

Yes, mine was a 2242 as well, and I found out it had a middle screw hole too. I just couldn't find the spacer for it, so I had to order one online—definitely check what size you need!
