Hey everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on how to access the BIOS of my old ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard. I don't have the original disk anymore, and burning a new one isn't an option for me right now. Is there a way to boot from a USB drive to access the BIOS for the first time? Just to clarify, I'm not looking to flash the BIOS, just to get into it. Thanks in advance!

You don't actually need any special media to access the BIOS. Just restart your computer and hit the appropriate key (like F2 or Delete) during boot to get into the BIOS settings directly.
I’d recommend checking the ASUS support page for your motherboard. You should be able to download the user manual and find any necessary files from there. It might help you with any steps required for your setup.
If you’re trying to use a USB drive, just plug it in while you boot and make sure it shows up in the BIOS. If it doesn’t work, you might want to reset the CMOS battery on your motherboard. Just pop it out and put it back in, and that should help. Usually, you don’t need to manually update the BIOS anymore since many boards do that automatically these days!
