I'm currently building a PC and looking to save some money. The total cost right now is $1200 before tax, and I'm hoping to bring that down by about $100. I'm specifically looking at the power supply unit (PSU), PC case, and monitor as areas where I can trim costs, since I believe I can find budget-friendly options that still perform well for my needs. Here's what I'm considering so far:
**Monitor:** Pixio PX248 Prime V2 24 inch 180Hz for $114
**PC Case:** Corsair 4000D Airflow for $109
**PSU:** CORSAIR RM750e for $115
If anyone has suggestions for more affordable alternatives that don't compromise performance, I'd love to hear them!

Honestly, you can find cases that cost half of what you're considering. However, I’d recommend not skimping on the PSU or the monitor. The monitor is really key; you don’t want to waste the potential of your PC on a low-quality screen. What's the point in building a beast if you’re limited by your peripherals?
For the case, you could consider the Cooler Master Q300L, which I got for around $40. If you're up for it, checking yard sales or thrift stores for cases can be a great way to find something for free or super cheap! It really depends on how good you want the airflow to be, though. Just make sure it doesn’t have any airflow issues since that could impact your build in the long run!
I watched a review on that case, and it had some airflow struggles. If you want something cheap, just make sure it won’t slow down your build process or become a hassle later on.
Any suggestions for a more budget-friendly case? And yeah, I was surprised to see the PSU priced at $115; is that considered too high?
