How Can I Ensure Longhorn Starts After CoreDNS in My k3s Cluster?

Asked By TechyTurtle42 On

I'm working with a two-node k3s cluster in my home lab and have been facing issues during startup. Despite my efforts to create a complex shutdown and startup sequence to prevent PVC corruption, I'm encountering problems because Longhorn is starting before CoreDNS is fully up and running. This causes numerous CrashLoopBackOff errors, which delays the Longhorn startup process. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? I'm looking for suggestions on how to resolve it.
