I recently got a new laptop, and someone helped me install the operating system. Everything seems to work fine, but I'm having problems with the sound output. It looks like the necessary audio drivers aren't installed, even though the laptop's product description mentions it has speakers. Can anyone offer some advice on how to resolve this? The laptop model is HP 250 G10 with an i5 processor and the operating system is Windows 11 version 22H2.

I gave that a shot and found two options: Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver and another similar one. But I ran into some trouble with the installation—the first one failed to extract files, and the second isn't making any difference either. Is there something I might be missing or need to enable for sound to work?
Check out HP's official website and head to the support section. Use their autodetection tool to find the relevant drivers for your model. It should list all available drivers for download. Make sure to install the audio drivers, which should resolve your volume issue.
