How Can I Get My Additional RAM Stick to Work?

I recently bought a pre-built PC and just noticed that I'm only using 8GB of RAM instead of the 16GB I should have. I've checked and confirmed that the RAM sticks are installed correctly in slots 2 and 4. I'm not very experienced with PCs, so please explain in simple terms! My motherboard is an Intel B560 and the RAM is 16GB DDR4 3000MHz (2x8GB). What can I do to make sure that my additional RAM stick is activated and recognized by the system?

First, check if Windows Task Manager shows a total of 16GB of RAM. If it does, your RAM is working properly. If it only shows 8GB, you might have to adjust a setting in your BIOS or ensure both sticks are seated right in the slots.

Unfortunately, Task Manager only shows 8GB!
