I'm putting together my first PC and want to make sure I can optimize my build to save some cash where possible. Here's my current list: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rd27qH](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rd27qH). I've got all my peripherals sorted out, but I'm unsure if there's anything I should add or remove to cut down on costs.

It would help to know what you plan to use the PC for. The Intel i9-14900K is powerful but might be overkill if you're just gaming. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is likely more cost-effective and easier to cool. Also, you don't need as high wattage on your PSU; around 750-850W should be plenty for your build.

What wattage do you think is best for my setup?

You might want to skip buying thermal paste, as most coolers come with it already. If you're looking to save even more on cooling, consider going for a Thermalright cooler instead.
