I recently discovered my old iPhone 13 while cleaning out some storage boxes. It was my first and only iPhone, but I switched back to Android after a year because I didn't enjoy using iOS. Now, I want to pass it on to a family member, but I've forgotten both the passcode and my Apple login details. Is there a way to reset it using a PC, or should I just throw it away? I assure you this is definitely my phone!

Wow, forgetting sign-in details seems pretty common nowadays! But hey, if you're really stuck without the password, calling Apple support might help. They might have ways to assist you in recovering your account.
Unfortunately, if you don't remember the login information for the Apple account linked to that phone, it's pretty much inaccessible. You'll need to recover that account first before anything else can be done.
Seriously, you think the iPhone 13 is 'old'? I'm still rocking an 11 while you guys are moving on to the next! Anyway, I hope you sort out your phone situation.
To reset it, you'll need to recover your Apple ID. After that, you can perform a DFU restore using a computer to wipe the device clean.
