Hey everyone! I'm currently writing a story and I keep getting these annoying red squiggly lines under a lot of my words, including names and made-up terms. I'm using Notion and I'd really like to know how to make them go away. Has anyone else dealt with this and found a solution?

The red lines are due to the spell checker in Notion. You can either turn off the spell check feature entirely or add your custom words (like names) to the dictionary. If you're unsure how to change these settings, there are guides available online!

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t realize I could manage spell check settings.

You can try right-clicking on the words with the squiggly lines and selecting 'Add to dictionary'! This should help keep those lines from showing up again for those specific terms.

You could also always just improve your spelling, haha! Just kidding, I get it – those are words you’ve invented for your story.

As an aspiring writer, I’d recommend keeping those names and unique words in your document. It's important for consistency! Usually, in text editors like Notion, you can add words to your personal dictionary too. Just right-click on them and you should find the option there.
