I've been having boot issues with my PC and can't get into Windows 10. Since I planned to clean install Windows 11 anyway, I created a USB boot drive. However, when I try to start the installation, I get a message saying my PC doesn't meet the specs needed. The only thing I can think of is that my hard drive isn't in UEFI mode, which I know needs to be changed. The problem is that everything I find on converting to UEFI requires access to Windows, and since I can't boot into it, I'm at a loss. How can I change my hard drive to UEFI without booting into Windows?

It sounds like you're trying to convert your hard drive from MBR to GPT to support UEFI. The standard way is usually through Windows, but without access to it, you can delete all partitions during the installation process. Just a heads up, all data will be lost, so make sure to back up anything important if you can! Just follow the prompts to delete partitions when installing.
I wish I could get that far! I only reach the point where I select my language and keyboard, and then when I opt for the full install, I see that my PC doesn’t meet the specs. It’s a dead end for me; I can only close that window and restart.
