How can I transfer Microsoft Authenticator from my Android to an iPhone?

Hey everyone! I recently lost my Android phone and had to borrow my friend's iPhone. The problem is, I can't log into my school account since I need to verify using Microsoft Authenticator. I downloaded the app on the iPhone, but both my school and the app keep telling me to verify through my old Android authenticator, which I obviously can't do right now. Is there any way to access my account with this new setup? It seems like I might be stuck in a glitch since I can't restore my previous data due to the different operating systems. Any suggestions would really help!

You should reach out to your school's IT department and put in a support ticket. They can help reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA) or add another verification method for you.

In the future, it's a good idea to have Microsoft Authenticator set up on two different devices if possible, like one Android and one iPhone. That way, you won’t get stuck like this again!
