I've got an iPad linked to Apple ID 1 where I purchased Procreate, and I've just got a new iPad that I'm planning to set up with Apple ID 2. I really want to avoid buying Procreate again for this new account. I've heard it might be possible to log into Apple ID 1 on the new iPad, download Procreate, and then switch back to Apple ID 2, but I'm worried that it could cause issues with both accounts. I also came across some info about a migration feature for app purchases, but I'm not sure if that would allow Procreate to stay installed on my old iPad, which I still need for transferring my artwork. Is there any way to do this without repurchasing Procreate?

Unfortunately, you can't just transfer purchases between Apple IDs. If you want Procreate on the new iPad, you'll likely have to buy it again under Apple ID 2. Migrating accounts means moving everything from one ID to another, which isn't exactly feasible if you still want to keep using both iPads.
It sounds like the best way to get Procreate on the new iPad is to follow through with your plan to log into Apple ID 1, download the app, and then switch back. But just keep in mind that doing this could flag your accounts. Migration usually means consolidating everything into one account, but it may not work the way you're hoping.
