So, here's the situation: my old phone broke, and unfortunately, my trusted phone number was never updated to my new one. After moving to a new house, my trusted PC got logged out, which means I had to start the recovery process with Apple. Now I'm stuck waiting for 14 days to regain access. What can I do in the meantime? Is there any way to create an Apple ID without a phone number? I've heard that using my current number might mess up the recovery process. I really need to use some apps like my work-related ones or mobile banking during this time!

Unfortunately, the best option you have is to wait for the recovery process to finish. It's super frustrating, I know! A lot of people suggest keeping your security details updated to avoid situations like this. But I totally get that 14 days without access is a pain.

This isn’t the only option! I can’t go two weeks without my Company app or banking. Apple should definitely inform users better about keeping their trusted numbers updated; it's been a nightmare!
