I'm in the process of taking apart my standard PS4, and I'm really struggling with the internal power supply. The cable that connects the power supply to the motherboard seems stuck, almost like it's glued in there. I've already taken out all the screws I can see on the power supply, but I'm not sure if there's a hidden release clip or if the connector is just super tight on this model. Any advice on how to get this cable out without damaging anything?

You're right, that connector can be really tight on these PS4 models. Just remember not to yank on the wires! If you've already unscrewed everything, try to gently flip the power supply out while still having it plugged in and see if you can unplug the other end. That might make it easier to access.

I hear you! The other end is a beast to get to, but hang in there! If it gets too frustrating, taking a break could help clear your mind.
