I'm launching an ACME certificate management product designed for mid to large organizations. While it's not set up for an enterprise-level PKI feature set, it focuses on managing ACME certificates on a larger scale. This includes handling tool configuration and monitoring across multiple servers and VMs. We've seen current customers use our product on around 200 Windows servers, but I'd like to know how many servers or VMs people typically manage in mid-large organizations. Are there businesses with more than 250 or even 500 servers? What does the organizational size look like for those managing that number?

It's really tough to generalize here. I've seen clients with as few as 30 employees managing over 300 servers, while others with 1,000+ employees only have 2 servers. The number of servers in an organization really varies based on their specific needs, so there isn't a standard average you can rely on for all mid-large organizations.
Yeah, exactly! It's not about averages, it's more about the unique setups of each organization. Some companies have a ton of servers for single services, while others consolidate a lot onto fewer, more complex servers.
