I've recently rediscovered my old Samsung SGH-X540 from the early 2000s, and I'm having trouble accessing it because I can't remember the PIN. This phone isn't Android, and it prompts me for the PIN to access my photos and audio recordings. Is there a way to bypass or remove the PIN without doing a factory reset? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I feel you! The PIN it’s asking for, is it the lock screen PIN? Sometimes, if you swap the SIM card, it might let you in. Also, if you can access the phone via a PC, you might be able to get to your files that way, but I get that not everyone has the right cable on hand.
If you haven't tried yet, definitely think about borrowing a USB cable to connect your phone to a computer. It’s worth a shot since some old phones allow access to files even if you don’t have the PIN. Just make sure you check your computer settings for mobile devices.
