Hey everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on a software licensing issue with AutoCAD. I'm currently logged into the admin console and would like to find out if one of my users, specifically John, has installed his business license on more than one device. I tried checking the 'Reporting / Seat Usage' section by product and user, but I haven't had much luck. How can I confirm if John has also set up his license on his personal computer at home?

AutoCAD licenses are typically associated with individual users, so they can be installed on multiple machines. You just need to log in using the user's credentials to access the software. It's the same as Revit, so you should be good on that front. If you still have doubts, check with the vendor where you purchased the subscription.
Licenses don’t get installed in the traditional sense anymore; you just sign into the software. This means John could potentially use your company's license from another machine. Autodesk tracks which accounts sign into which devices, but you might need an Enterprise-level agreement to access that info yourself. Unfortunately, I can’t find that option in my management portal.
You're spot on! Many people still call it installing, but it’s really about logging in. Then again, knowing if someone is logged in somewhere else isn't possible unless you have enterprise-level access. You can only see their consistent login from the approved device unless there's a special setup.
