My friend has lost her iPhone 14, and the SIM card has been removed. Find My currently shows the phone as offline, while Lost Mode is still pending. Is there any other way to track it or see its current location?

If the phone is offline, there usually isn’t a way to get a live location right now. Lost Mode should activate automatically if the iPhone connects to Wi‑Fi, cellular service, or the Find My network. The iPhone 14 supports the Find My network, so keep checking its location and leave it linked to the Apple Account. Don’t remove it from Find My, since that can disable Activation Lock.
Removing the SIM doesn’t necessarily stop every tracking method, but the phone still has to be powered on and detected by a network or nearby Apple devices. You can also contact the carrier to suspend the line and provide the IMEI, then report the loss to the police if appropriate. Be cautious of anyone claiming they found it and asking for account details or passcodes.
