Is 750W PSU Enough for My First PC Build?

I just assembled my first PC and I'm a bit concerned about my power supply unit (PSU). It's rated at 750W, but my estimated wattage usage is only 319W. Will this be a problem or is it actually a good thing since it leaves room for future upgrades? Here's the build I'm working with: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Zx8CPJ

Your setup looks good! Having a 750W PSU is great because it only draws what's necessary for your components, so you shouldn't have any issues. It's always a good idea to have a bit of overhead wattage to manage power surges, but honestly, you wouldn't need to worry about saving money by going lower as the 750W is efficient. Some people argue that keeping the wattage at around 50% of the PSU's capability maximizes efficiency, but for the most part, it won't affect you much in real-world usage.

If I were in your shoes, I'd swap in an AMD 5500 for $70 and a 9060 XT with 16GB for $370. Same price range but better performance for gaming altogether!

Interesting choice! But how exactly does that setup outperform my current one?

Your build looks solid! If you don't need the integrated graphics of the 5600G, I'd suggest switching to the Ryzen 5600—it offers better performance. Don't stress about the PSU; having more wattage is perfectly fine. In fact, it gives you room for upgrades later on. If you're considering a GPU upgrade, shooting for a 16GB model might be better, but I noticed the 8GB option is the same price as the 3060, plus you would get better performance. If you want the Nvidia route, I'd still recommend the 5060 over the 3060, even with the VRAM difference.

Thanks for the tips! How do you think this build will handle games? Is there any video you would recommend for performance?

You're totally fine! Your motherboard can support up to a Ryzen 9 5950X, and a 750W PSU can handle that without breaking a sweat. Plus, with that wattage, you could easily upgrade to a GPU like the 5070 Ti and still be set for QHD gaming.
