Is a 5600X CPU Suitable for a 5070 Ti GPU at QHD Resolution?

I'm considering upgrading to the 5070 Ti while keeping my 5600X CPU. I've seen a lot of discussions about these components, and I'm now checking out second-hand deals. My main concern is if the 5600X will adequately support the 5070 Ti for gaming at QHD resolution. Also, I have a 650W power supply—should I be looking for something beefier? Thanks for any advice!

Using a 5070 Ti with a 5600X is a bit of a heavy load, but it should work well enough. It might be the fastest GPU you could pair with that CPU. If you're playing at QHD and not going crazy with ultra settings, you'll likely be fine. Just keep in mind that for the power supply, I’d recommend upgrading to at least 750W, with 850W being an even better choice for stability.

Hey! Just to clarify, I’ll be gaming at QHD, not FHD. Do you think that setup will still hold up? And should I consider going for a 1000W PSU for future-proofing?
