Hey everyone! I currently have a 650W power supply, and I'm wondering if it's strong enough for my setup that includes an i5 12600KF and an RTX 4070 Super. Should I consider upgrading to a 750W PSU for extra safety?

Honestly, going for a 750W PSU isn’t a bad idea just to have some cushion, especially if you're planning on any future upgrades. Better safe than sorry!

Plus, having a bit of extra wattage can help with efficiency.

You should be good with the 650W for the RTX 4070 Super since it has a similar power draw to the 3070, which is about 220W. Just keep an eye on your overall system wattage with everything together. If you're close to or over 500W when you check it on something like PCPartPicker, then maybe think about an upgrade just to be safe!

Yeah, definitely check your complete specs to be sure!

Sounds logical! I guess it's better to have a bit more headroom.

If everything works well with your 650W, then stick with it for now. Just make sure your PSU is in good condition, and you should be fine!

It should work without any issues, but upgrading won't hurt if you want that peace of mind!
