I made a purchase on iTunes today and was expecting to receive the invoice by email shortly after. However, it took about 5 hours before I finally got it. I'm not used to how Apple does things, so I'm wondering if it's typical for them to send purchase invoices with such a delay?

The delay can be explained by something called purchase grouping. Basically, Apple might be bundling together your purchases for a single invoice. That’s part of their system and can lead to the receipt showing up later than expected.
Yeah, it's pretty normal for Apple to send invoices after a delay. Sometimes they just take their time with it.
Totally normal! The receipt can come right away, but it can also take hours or even days. If you bought multiple items, Apple often combines them into one receipt, which can contribute to the delay. This happens commonly with subscriptions too.
Thank you very much!
