Is it safe to power on my PC if I cut myself on the motherboard?

Hey everyone, I accidentally cut myself while handling my motherboard. I'm wondering if it's safe to turn it on now. There wasn't blood on it at the time, but I'm a bit worried about whether any might have gotten on there. What do you all think?

If you got a cut but there’s no blood on the motherboard, you should be fine to turn it on. I’ve cut myself before while building PCs—it's super common! Just keep an eye out for any obvious signs of blood or damage before you do. It’s like a little rite of passage for many of us in this hobby!

I wouldn’t power it on if I were you, just to be safe. If you did bleed on it, definitely use a cotton bud with rubbing alcohol to clean the area. Better to be cautious than risk damaging your components!

I cut myself but the bleeding started after my hand was away... could that still mean blood is on it?
