Hey everyone! I've got a question about whether I should upgrade my gaming setup. Right now, I'm using a 2070 Super graphic card with a Ryzen 7 3800X processor and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. It's been about six years since I built this machine. I just had a power supply issue, but after replacing it, my PC is still running fine. However, I've noticed that I can't play some games on the graphics settings I'd like.
I'm considering upgrading to boost my graphics performance and to preemptively tackle any potential failures due to age. I've already installed a 1000W Super Flower PSU to accommodate future upgrades. My worry is that prices for components might keep climbing and I'll miss the best opportunity to upgrade.
Currently, I'm looking at possibly getting an AMD bundle from Microcenter which includes either the 7800X3D or the 9850X3D, and pairing it with a 5070 Ti. I plan to reuse my existing SSD and case to save some cash. Should I also buy an additional 32GB of RAM since the bundle only comes with 32GB (2x16GB)?
What do you all think? Am I overthinking this, or will prices not drop anytime soon?

It's a tricky market right now. I wouldn't expect prices to drop in the coming months. If you've got the budget, upgrading now seems wise. And honestly, 32GB of RAM is fine for gaming; doubling it to 64GB would be overkill unless you're working with memory-intensive applications.
