I accidentally ordered a set of 64GB RAM rated at 6000 MHz with CL36 timings instead of CL30. Given this situation, would it be worth the trouble to swap them out for the lower latency ones, or is there minimal day-to-day impact? Thanks for your insights! By the way, I'm using a 9800x3D processor with a 5080 GPU.

You probably won't notice any difference. It's just not worth the hassle to swap it out.
The difference is nearly negligible. You might get less than 1% performance variation. This issue usually only matters with onboard graphics, which doesn't apply here. So don't stress about it!
Changing from CL36 to CL30 won’t make a noticeable impact on performance with your setup. In fact, benchmarks show that there’s virtually no difference in FPS with a 3D cache.
Keep the 36s! It’s just not worth the hustle to go through the swap. As everyone mentioned, you likely won't even notice any difference.
Honestly, it’s not worth it. The X3D CPUs aren't very sensitive to RAM timings because of their large amount of L3 cache, so you won't see much of a difference day-to-day.
