I'm looking to upgrade my current GTX 960 to a 5060 Ti. The 8GB models are priced around $550, while the 16GB versions are about $700, thanks to local taxes. I'm wondering if it's really worth the extra $150 for the 16GB model. What do you think?

Go for the 16GB if you can! The 8GB doesn’t cut it for high settings in many recent games. If the 5060 Ti is out of your budget, maybe check out the 9060 XT with 16GB, which is cheaper and performs well too.
If you're only playing competitive titles, the 8GB could work, but it's a gamble. If you’re looking at release longevity and maybe selling the PC later, definitely opt for the 16GB version. It's worth it if you ever want to play higher-end games!
If you're planning to play any single-player games, I strongly recommend the 16GB version. The 8GB is really only good for competitive games like League of Legends or CS:GO, where graphics aren't as demanding. For more graphically intense titles, you'll appreciate having more VRAM.
Yeah, I agree! Modern games are starting to require more VRAM, so 16GB seems safer for future-proofing.
True! Plus, it might save you some headaches in performance down the line.
