Is it Worth Upgrading My GPU on an Older System?

I'm looking to upgrade the GPU on my older system, which has an ASRock H370M-HDV motherboard and an i7 9700 (non-K) processor, paired with a GTX 1660 Super. I've read about options like the 3070 Ti and 6750 XT, but I'm not sure what fits well with my setup. Can anyone provide some suggestions or insight on what would work best? I'm relatively new to building PCs and want to make the right choice.

You'll be fine for 1080p gaming, and you could even consider 1440p with something like a 9060 XT with 16GB. Your i7 9700 is still solid, especially since most gaming performance relies heavily on the GPU. Based on benchmarks, it won't bottleneck too significantly, but keep your 650W PSU in mind when choosing a GPU—nothing too power-hungry! A 5070 might be more feasible than you think, and being slightly GPU bottlenecked isn't the end of the world.

First off, what's the power rating of your power supply? That's crucial for knowing what GPUs you can safely use.

I'm using an MSI MAG A650GL.
