Hey everyone,
I was playing Overwatch, and while the game was putting some stress on my system, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Suddenly, my screen went black and the GPU stopped outputting any display, but the PC itself stayed powered on. I had to forcefully shut it down by holding the power button. When I restarted, my fuse blew.
After unplugging the PC and resetting the fuse, I plugged it back in and turned it on. The GPU fans spun up to full speed for a few seconds, and then I forcefully shut it down again. However, when I restarted it afterward, everything seemed to be working perfectly. I checked the event log and other logs, but there were no errors. I also noticed my GPU drivers haven't been updated since last year. I'm using a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, AMD RX 7600 XT, and I think my PSU is an EVGA Bronze 850. What do you think happened? Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

It sounds like it could be more of a driver issue since your PC stayed on. If this was just a one-off incident, maybe don't worry too much unless it happens again. Just keep an eye on it and report back if it recurs.
Have you checked for any burnt plastic smells? Sometimes, issues with the power delivery to the GPU can be a real hassle. But if your stress tests are showing stable temperatures and no issues, it might just be a random glitch with the drivers. It's good that you can't replicate it, though!
