Is My New PC Build a Mistake?

Hey everyone! After selling my previous gaming PC (which had a Ryzen 5 3500X and an RTX 3060) back in February 2022, I've been really missing gaming. So, I've decided to build a new one! Here are the parts I've picked out:

- CPU: Ryzen 7 9700X
- Motherboard: MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI6E
- GPU: XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16G Triple Fan
- RAM: Patriot Viper Venom 32GB KIT DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- M.2: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB
- Power Supply: Seasonic Core GX-750 ATX 3.1
- Cooler: Be quiet! PURE ROCK PRO 3 Black
- Case: Be quiet! PURE BASE 501 Airflow Window Black

Someone suggested I go for the Ryzen 7 7700 and a B650 motherboard instead and warned me against MSI due to BIOS issues. What do you think? Did I make any mistakes or could I have chosen better components? Thanks for any tips or advice!

The RAM price you mentioned sounds reasonable; right now, prices can be pretty volatile. However, as for your cooler, it seems like you already have a decent option with the Be quiet! PURE ROCK PRO 3. If you want to push your build even further, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin could give you better cooling performance. Just keep an eye on your temperatures!

Wait, your RAM is already at $237? I guess prices really have bumped up lately. Anyway, good to know your cooler is sorted. Just keep it all well-ventilated!
