I got a PC from a friend a while ago, and I've been using it mainly for gaming. However, I'm facing a significant issue with the screen. It seems like some parts of the display are cut off, particularly at the top and bottom, and the picture often gets pixelated, making it hard to read. I really don't know much about computers, so I'm trying to figure out if the issue is due to my TV being too old or if I'm missing something important. My TV model is Toshiba 26AV502RZ, and I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

What region are you in? I'm open to suggestions for affordable monitors. I just want to be able to game smoothly without spending a fortune!
Where are you located? Monitors are pretty cheap around here! If you’re not looking for anything fancy, you can definitely find something that hits 60fps on lower graphics settings without breaking the bank.
It looks like you're using a 720p TV, which typically runs at 1366x768 resolution. This might be why the picture looks off. Your best bet is to set your Windows resolution to 1366x768, but keep in mind that some of the overall display might still get cut off due to the TV. It would probably be a good idea to invest in a proper monitor or at least a newer 1080p or 4K TV for a better gaming experience.
