I'm in the middle of upgrading my PC and just switched from an RTX 3070 to an RTX 5070. It's been a fantastic upgrade, but I'm currently using a Corsair CV650W power supply, which isn't ideal for the 5070 due to its lack of multiple power connectors. I'm stuck using the daisy-chained option, which specifically advises against using it for the GPU (it's kind of a joke, right?). Are there any better options within a similar price range?

Just a heads up, the MSI MAG A850GL isn’t even a GPU—it’s a power supply! I have one myself and actually like it, but it’s not what you're looking for if you need a graphics card.
Same here! That clears things up!
The MSI MAG A850GL is decent, but it's not the top contender out there. Just keep that in mind while you're making decisions.
You're only bumping up by 30W with your upgrade. Honestly, you probably don’t need a new PSU for that.
I'm not sure about other options that are better, but the one you're looking at is rated 'B' on a PSU tier list, so it should be perfectly acceptable for your setup. You can check it out for peace of mind.
That's good to know! I was afraid of getting a subpar PSU.

Haha, I totally missed that too!
