I'm considering buying a Radeon RX 7700 XT, but I'm curious if there are better GPU options at a similar price. Additionally, I need recommendations for the cheapest motherboard that can work with this GPU without sacrificing its performance too much. I'm aware that the motherboard just holds everything together and doesn't itself impact performance directly, but I'm particularly interested in how it might affect the GPU's performance due to different PCIe and DDR configurations. Also, I'm not really looking to future-proof my setup, since I plan to upgrade my entire PC eventually. Ideally, this motherboard would be compatible with a Ryzen 9 9900x.

As long as your motherboard has a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, the GPU should perform well regardless of the brand. Just make sure your CPU can keep up with it! It might be a good idea to pick your CPU first, then find a motherboard that suits both your GPU and CPU.
What do you think about the MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi mATX for the Ryzen 9 9900x? Would that work well?
