I'm considering upgrading from my old 1660 Ti since I want to start playing games at 1440p. I found a deal for an RTX 5070 bundled with DOOM for €619, but I'm not sure if the 12GB of VRAM is sufficient. Is this a good deal or should I be looking for something else?

Honestly, if you can swing it, I'd suggest stepping up to a 5070 Ti with 16GB. The 5070 and 5060 models just don’t offer enough performance compared to last gen, so you might want to consider a used 5070 Ti for a better price instead.
The 12GB VRAM is actually decent for now, but thinking long-term, it might not last as long as you'd hope. If you think you'll be using it for 5 years, the 5070 Ti will probably serve you better in the long run. Plus, there's chatter about a potential 5070 Super with even more VRAM, which could be a solid option.
You know, I think buying a card just for DOOM isn't worth it. The new DOOM game costs about €79.99, so maybe consider a better value card instead of just a short-term perk.
