I'm feeling a bit frustrated because my 512GB iPhone is almost out of space, with videos alone taking up around 352GB! I noticed that it's already nearing 300GB used. I'm wondering if there's a way to just download my photos while keeping the originals on my iPhone. Any suggestions?

You might want to turn on the Optimize Photos feature. It helps you save space by keeping smaller versions on your device while your originals are safely stored in iCloud.
Try enabling iCloud Photos and the Optimize Storage option in your settings. This way, your photos and videos will upload to iCloud, and you'll only keep thumbnails on your phone. Just remember that if you delete something from your phone, it gets deleted everywhere else too!
Don't forget, once you enable Optimize Storage, your photos will still upload to iCloud, and you can access them anytime from there. Just remember that you can't transfer the thumbnails directly to your computer - you'll need to do it through iCloud.com instead.
Sounds good! But if I want to transfer photos to my computer, will I still be able to do that?
