Is this a decent entry-level gaming build?

I'm putting together my first PC build and wanted to get some feedback. Here's what I've got so far: Ryzen 5 5600G, a Gigabyte A520M K V2 motherboard, a Lexar NM620 256GB M.2 SSD, Lexar THOR 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, and an MSI MAG A550BN (550W) power supply. I don't really play modern AAA games, just some older titles and indie stuff. Does this setup work well for that?

I'd say this setup is a solid starting point, but you might want to consider adding more RAM since 16GB is really the minimum these days. Also, think about pricing for a 650W or 750W PSU. They can sometimes be found for a good price and would give you more breathing room if you decide to add a dedicated GPU later on. Just a tip: double-check the variations of the 5600 series; there are a few, and one might be cheaper than the others.

I won’t be adding a dedicated GPU anytime soon, but I appreciate the advice! I'm aiming to save up for a full upgrade later.

You might want to consider getting a bit more storage. 256GB can fill up pretty quickly, especially if you're planning to install multiple games.

This build should handle older and less demanding games just fine. For pixel art games and similar genres, it's definitely adequate. I read that the integrated GPU in the 5600G is roughly on par with an NVIDIA 1030, so you should be good for casual gaming.

Thanks for the input! I usually play Crossfire, League of Legends, and a bit of Minecraft and Roblox, so this sounds promising.
