I'm planning my first-ever PC build and trying to keep the budget under $3000. The main uses will be gaming, game development, and a bit of 3D animation. Here's the build I've created: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2dDZpK. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

I agree with the others about the RAM! Also, remember to check compatibility with your motherboard and CPU. It's crucial for getting the best performance out of your build!

Thanks for your input! I'll definitely double-check compatibility as I finalize my choices.

By the way, why do so many people on Reddit put the dollar sign after the number? It's kind of interesting to see and makes me wonder about the habits online!

I think you did a solid job with your build! The only tweak I'd suggest is to go for slightly faster RAM—consider a 64GB kit with a lower CL rating since AM5 CPUs benefit from that. Also, check out a higher quality PSU; I've linked one I think is better for the price. Overall, it's looking good!

Definitely consider getting DDR 6000 CL30 RAM for better performance. If you're looking to save on cooling, I'd recommend the Arctic Frozen III Pro AIO cooler as it's better and can help you cut costs. Just an idea!
